Tribunal's new website launched

21/07/2014
Today the Tribunal launched its new website.

The Tribunal has been working over the past few months to develop a site that would be more user friendly, easy to navigate and allow more efficient access to native title updates and information for all web users.

Along with a new design and look to the website, the Tribunal has added new technical features, including:
  • Native Title Registers The Tribunal’s three Registers (National Native Title Register, Register of Native Title Claims and the Register of Indigenous Land Use Agreements) will now be available online.  You will be able to search the Registers and download copies of Register extracts direct to your computer.
  • A combined native title search page This feature will let you search for information relating to native title applications, registration decisions and determinations from a single search page.
  • A combined future act applications and determinations search page Similarly, you will be able to search future act applications and determinations using one search page.
  • New statistics page Native title statistics maintained by the Tribunal will be available and updated on a daily basis. These include statistics for active native title and future act applications and total numbers of determinations, registration decisions and Indigenous land use agreements on the Registers.
  • NativeTitle Vision (NTV)Subscribers to NTV and other Tribunal updates will now be able to create and manage their own login accounts, as well as access maps when conducting native title searches.

The Tribunal appreciates all feedback on our new website. Should you wish to make comments or you have any queries please email enquiries@nntt.gov.au or Freecall 1800 640 501.
