Searching for native title determination applications on the website

The Tribunal’s new website was launched two weeks ago on Monday 21 July 2014. A number of changes have been implemented to the website with the aim of providing web users with easier access to available native title information.

One of the changes is the ability to now search for native title application, registration decisions and determinations in the one spot, using one search form.

This online search mechanism can be found under the Search Registers and Applications tab. This feature provides users with:
  • Improved search fields, developed to help users quickly and easily obtain the information they seek.
  • View the progress of a native title claim in the summary details, which contain information on the native title application, related registration decisions and determinations.
  • View the relevant map for the application by clicking the ‘see map’ link. Please note you will need to be registered for NTV to do this. You can register for NTV and other Tribunal updates in the Subscription Centre. 
  • View relevant extracts through links to the Registered Native Title Claim (RNTC) and National Native Title Register (NNTR)

Please note all users will still be able to request for a search from the Tribunal by completing the Search Request Form
