The National Native Title Tribunal is pleased to announce the release of a new NTV application showcasing current and historical native title determination applications.
The app has been developed in response to many requests from stakeholders wanting to view historical applications.
The current Schedule of Native Title Determination Applications and Determinations layers are included in the app to provide context, along with tools to load your own spatial data.
There are two ways to look for historical records in the new app:
- Use the ‘Search for Applications Lodged’ tool to discover applications that have been lodged at a specific point or within a rectangle. The results are provided as an interactive list which can be exported to a table.
- Use the ‘Search Application Changes’ tool to see the changes that have occurred for an individual record. Some will have significant spatial changes, others may have only one record. Each entry has a start and end date, and a brief explanation of the change. The results are provided as an interactive list which can be exported to a table.
