The annual increase in the fees payable for applications to the NNTT is provided for in the Native Title (Tribunal) Regulations 1993 and notice of the new fees was published in the Government Gazette on 16 June 2023.
This means that fees for all future act determination (section 35) applications and expedited procedure objections will increase to $1,002.00, if lodged on or after 1 July 2023. Existing exemptions continue to apply.
