Ms Katie Stride

Location: Brisbane

Katie Stride has worked in Indigenous legal and service sectors for 25 years, including for the Commonwealth and Qld governments, in private law, representative body and non-government organisations. In the preceding 7 years before being appointed as Native Title Registrar in August 2023, Katie was the National Judicial Registrar – Native Title for the Federal Court.  She holds a BA/LLB and a Master of Public Administration from UQ, a Graduate Diploma Legal Practice from ANU and a Graduate Diploma Law (Sustainable Development) from USQ. Katie is admitted to practice in the High Court, WA, Qld and the ACT.

Katie is a nationally accredited mediator and has also been a Board Member for Reconciliation Qld and the Aboriginal Carbon Foundation​​.​​
