Updated Maps and Statistics

Visit the Tribunal's Maps and Spatial data page to discover the series of national, state and regional maps available - all depicting the status as at 31 December 2006.

Statistics include area figures by State, Territory and Commonwealth where native title has been determined, numbers of applications on the Register of Native Title Claims, number of claimant applications in the Federal Court, including registration status, and the number of Indigenous Land Use Agreements, registered and in notification.

A further series of maps identify those native title matters that involve areas seaward of the High Water Mark.
