Updated geospatial maps and statistics

The Tribunal's Maps and Spatial data page has been updated with the latest information.

Created by the Geospatial division, the resource offers national, state and regional maps - depicting the status as at 30 September 2006.

Statistics include area figures where native title has been determined by State and Territory, numbers of applications on the Register of Native Title Claims, number of claimant applications in the Federal Court, including registration status, and the number of Indigenous Land Use Agreements, registered and in notification.

These products are updated quarterly so look forward to new updates in January 2007.
