Native Title Forum 2001

'Negotiating Country' conference papers

The Tribunal organised its first native title forum, 'Negotiating Country', in Brisbane from 1 to 3 August 2001. This major national forum provided an opportunity to hear about case studies, practical information and emerging issues in native title agreement making and mediation. More than two hundred participants attended from government, land councils, indigenous corporations, mining companies, rural organisations and the legal profession.

The conference papers are attached below for downloading. The author of each paper and the title of their speech is provided.
