Overall, 80% of participants found the workshop to be excellent or very good with 84% having their expectations
exceeded or met. 44% found they would use all or most of the information acquired and 92% of participants would
recommend the workshop to others. 96% of the respondents indicated they would be interested in attending a
further technical workshop, with 88% specifically interested in a similar workshop within their state/territory
to progress issues.
A number of comments were made in relation to the most valuable aspects of the workshop, with the key aspects
being networking opportunities, the good cross section of presenters and participants, obtaining updates on
activities in the various states/territories, and discussions about data including sharing datasets,
custodianship and sources of data. Of the 59 participants, 25 submitted a feedback form, providing
a 42% response rate. Results to individual questions are given below, with figures in brackets representing
the actual number of responses.
