Scott - Brisbane Registry Legal Services Officer, seven years
Scott became a part of the Tribunal to increase his knowledge of the law of native title and to contribute his experience representing major mining companies in native title and resource related matters. These days, Scott particularly enjoys the work and life balance that the Tribunal permits.

Fran - Darwin Registry Administration Officer, nine years
Fran is a full-time staff member and has worked for the Tribunal for over nine years. When asked why she chose to work for the Tribunal she said it was because she thought the position looked interesting and it would increase and expand the knowledge base that she already had at the time.
Here’s what Fran had to say when asked the best thing about working for the Tribunal:
‘The great employment conditions and working with people and staff who are willing to impart knowledge. The best part of working with the Tribunal is being able to assist claimants with our friendly and helpful demeanour and helping external stakeholders with any queries. These people are the most integral and interesting part of my job.’
